Connecting Services

How to connect HubSpot, Slack, and other services to Triggo for automation.

Connecting Services

To automate, Triggo needs access to your services. Connection happens right in the chat — the AI will ask for authorization when needed.

Getting Started: Five Ready-Made Hero Flows

Triggo ships with five ready-to-install hero flows that cover common automation patterns:

  1. HubSpot → Slack Lead Routing — Route new HubSpot leads to the right Slack channel with enriched contact details.
  2. Gmail Inbox Triage → Slack — Triage important Gmail messages and route them to Slack for fast team response.
  3. HubSpot Follow-Up Sequence — When a new HubSpot contact arrives, schedule a Google Calendar event and send a Gmail reminder.
  4. HubSpot → Notion Lead Capture — Capture every new HubSpot contact as a page in a Notion database for team-wide visibility.
  5. HubSpot → Gmail Welcome Email — Automatically send a personalised welcome email via Gmail when a new contact is created in HubSpot.

Quick Start: HubSpot → Slack Lead Routing

The fastest way to see Triggo in action:

  1. Open the chat and type: "Route new HubSpot leads to Slack"
  2. The AI will build a 3-step pipeline: HubSpot Trigger → Enrich Lead → Slack #sales
  3. Connect HubSpot when prompted (OAuth — sign in and grant access)
  4. Connect Slack when prompted (OAuth — select your workspace)
  5. Deploy and start receiving lead notifications

Connecting HubSpot

What You Need

  • A HubSpot account with admin or super-admin permissions
  • Access to CRM contacts and deals

Steps

  1. When creating a pipeline with HubSpot, the AI will show a connection prompt
  2. Click "Connect HubSpot"
  3. A HubSpot authorization window will open — sign in and grant Triggo the requested permissions
  4. The window will close automatically
  5. A confirmation will appear in the chat: "HubSpot connected"

Common Errors

  • Authorization window doesn't open — allow popups for the Triggo site in your browser settings
  • Insufficient permissions — make sure you're signed in to HubSpot with admin or super-admin permissions
  • Token expired — Triggo will prompt you to reconnect when your token expires. Type "connect HubSpot" in the chat

Connecting Slack

What You Need

  • A Slack workspace where you have permission to install apps
  • The channels you want Triggo to post to

Steps

  1. When creating a pipeline with Slack, the AI will show a connection prompt
  2. Click "Connect Slack"
  3. A Slack authorization window will open — sign in and select your workspace
  4. Choose which channels Triggo can access
  5. The window will close automatically
  6. A confirmation will appear in the chat: "Slack connected"

Common Errors

  • Can't install apps — ask your Slack workspace admin to approve the Triggo app
  • Channel not visible — Triggo can only post to channels it has been invited to. Invite the Triggo bot to the desired channel

Connecting Notion

What You Need

  • A Notion account with access to the databases you want Triggo to write to
  • The target database must be shared with your Notion integration

Steps

  1. When creating a pipeline with Notion (e.g. the HubSpot → Notion Lead Capture flow), the AI will show a connection prompt
  2. Click "Connect Notion"
  3. A Notion authorization window will open — sign in and select the pages/databases to share
  4. The window will close automatically
  5. A confirmation will appear in the chat: "Notion connected"
  6. Provide the target database ID when configuring the flow

Common Errors

  • Database not visible — make sure you've shared the target database with the Triggo integration in Notion's share menu
  • Authorization window doesn't open — allow popups for the Triggo site in your browser settings

Connecting Telegram Bot

What You Need

  • A Telegram bot created via @BotFather
  • The bot's API token

Creating a Bot

If you don't have a bot yet:

  1. Open @BotFather in Telegram
  2. Send the /newbot command
  3. Follow the instructions: specify a name and username for the bot
  4. Copy the API token (format: 123456:ABC-DEF1234ghIkl-zyx57W2v1u123ew11)

Connecting to Triggo

  1. When creating a pipeline with Telegram, the AI will show a token input field: "Paste the Telegram Bot token"
  2. Paste the bot's API token
  3. Click "Connect"
  4. Triggo will verify the token via the Telegram API
  5. A confirmation will appear in the chat: "Telegram Bot connected"

Common Errors

  • Invalid token — make sure you copied the entire token without extra spaces
  • Bot deleted — if the bot was deleted via @BotFather, the token stops working. Create a new bot

Managing Connections

Connections are saved and work across all your pipelines. Re-authorization is not needed.

If an access token expires (e.g., HubSpot), Triggo will show a message "HubSpot access expired" and suggest reconnecting. Type "connect HubSpot" in the chat to refresh the authorization.
